Georgia on My Mind

Well, it looks the big things won and I'm moving to Georgia. I don't like to throw around the phrase 'dream job' but if anything fits that description for me my new job does. Basically I'll be working for Atlanta Spirit, the company that owns the Atlanta Hawks, Thrashers and Philips Arena. I don't know my exact title yet but the bulk of my time will be spent writing about the Atlanta Thrashers (that's an NHL team for you non-hockey folks) and developing content for their website. I'll also be working on stuff for the Hawks and arena sites. So yeah, I write about sports for fun at The Net Files and now a professional sports organization wants to pay me for it. Not too shabby. I'll be moving to Atlanta sometime around the 20th of September, give or take a few days.
