As of 11am it was 29C (84F) in Ottawa according to both The Weather Network (Canadian) and The Weather Channel (American). That's entirely too hot for Canada... in June... before lunch time. At least I don't have to wear a polyester jump suit to work like Meg's neighbour.
The funny thing about all of this is that according to The Weather Network's site the temperature with humidity factored in feels like 40C while according to The Weather Channel it only feels like 33C. That's a pretty big difference for two sites that seem to be using the same source for all of their other information. I'd love to know what formula each site uses to calculate the 'feels like' temperature.
We like to call the new navy-blue polyester, longsleve suits the "Prison suits" I petitioned the boss to get them in orange.
As for the "feels like temp" I don't know about the hot one, but the wind chill factor is literaly supposed to be what it would feel like if you were outside naked. - - yeah.
