November 30. That's when President Bush is making his first official visit to Canada. I'd love to give you live reports of security, protests or any other broohaha on that date but I'll be in Georgia again. I'm coming back on December 1 so maybe I can catch the end of his visit if it's a multi-day thingy.I have a feeling it's going to be an afternoon quickie though. Anyone else want to submit stories about the visit? Rich?
Apparently Rick Mercer has a pretty funny bit on his show tonight (8pm CBC?) regarding tomorrow's visit of Bush. Saw a preview and I'm glad he included a quick reference/comment of how Steven Harper and his party is so ready to kiss the U.S.' ass as part of their party policy...
Check it out if you have time.

Haven't had a chance to listen to all the details and news stories on it yet, but there appears to be quite the movement growing to get a large Anti-Bush protest demo for the visit. I'd be there myself if I didn't belong to the military...
(..we're not allowed to participate in those kind of stuff)
What was Bush's demand for making a speech/address to Parliament.....only if nobody heckles him? Coward!

I'll send you a story if I can catch enough of it. I have to work that day but I'll swing by and try to see whats going on down around the hill and American embassy that day. I'll get some pictures too if possible... this should bring out all sorts. I demand paper mache and stilt wearing lunatics on all corners!
